During the Fête de la Fleur event at De Wetshof estate three Commandeurs were inducted, dr Winifred Baumann, Siobhan Thompson and Luke Krone.
The ceremony took place outside on a gloriously sunny South African summer day. Vice-Maître Danie de Wet and his wife Lesca hosted the Commanderie at this occasion. After the intronisations we tasted through a fabulous selection of Bordeaux wines representative of the vintages 2001 through to 2008, as well as 2010.

The tasting was conducted in the De Wetshof barrel cellar. De Wetshof’s own wines were served during dinner.
